We base our assumptions on years of Filtagreen™’s professional field experience in implementing those products. We also take into account leading maintenance practices (e.g., disciplined oil analysis sampling, best practice in hydrocarbon handling and storage, holistic component performance test) to achieve the oil and main filter extension. During project implementation, we require our client to perform oil sample analysis regularly to justify the main filter and oil life extension.
We do not have enough field experience to justify our assumption on the parameters for certain unit models. You are free to fill in all the adjustable parameters based on your experience. In that case, we allow you to use your best judgement to specify your assumption on those parameters.
The panel "Before Usage" indicates all the basic parameters before the unit starts to implement Filtagreen™ product. Many of these parameters are based on manufacturer’s recommendation. The panel "After Usage" indicates all the basic parameters after the unit implements Filtagreen™ product. An example would be the oil change period "Before Usage" is at 500 HM and oil change period "After Usage" of Filtamax is at 1000 HM.
Apparently, it is not practical for us to provide each of all the possible unit models in our database due to a huge amount of different type of unit models in the market. We do, however, want to be flexible in allowing you to calculate the business case on any unit model. In order to do so, you need to choose "Others" on the unit model selection, and input all of the parameters manually.
We understand that our client might change or replace the engine that is different than what is provided by the manufacturer. In that case, you need to choose "Others" on the unit model selection, and input all of the parameters manually.
Generally, under conservative approach, we are using the same overhaul cost of the unit prior to implementing Filtagreen™ product. By extending the overhaul period, you would already gain a certain savings by the time the unit is expected to be overhauled.
